Inspired by the likes of Junior Masterchef, Haagen-Dazs is now running child cooking lessons this summer.

The 'I am Chef Haagen-Dazs' workshop is led by the brand's own chefs, who teach various levels for kids of different skills and ages. The most basic level begins by having kids prepare ice cream, chocolate, fondant, while the next level up gets kids into making cheesecakes, muffins, cupcakes, cakes and brownies. After participating in the Haagen-Dazs child cooking class, kids are invited to the Junior Chef Carnival where they can look back on the skills they learned in a graduation-style ceremony.

Just like many challenging food reality shows, kids will have the chance to participate in a contest to build a three-tier wedding cake. The winner will be able to call himself or herself a true Haagen-Dazs Junior Chef and will have the chance to work with the brand's chefs for the development of a dessert that will be available as a limited time offering across the city.
