After its contents have been removed, bicycle boxes are usually destined for the recycling bin—but not the Brum Box.

The Brum Brum is an eco-friendly bicycle for kids that's made from materials like recyclable birch and oak plywood. As such, the product called for a packaging solution that is just as sustainable. The three-piece garage-inspired Brum Box was developed as a design that can be used as a place to park the bike when it is not in use, as well as a play house that can be drawn on like a 3D coloring book with lines that can be filled in.

Since the Brum Box is made from corrugated board, it can easily be recycled when it is no longer needed for transportation or play. Across all industries, consumers are seeking out multipurpose packaging designs that can be of use to them after they have served their primary purpose.
