Bambox Changes the Way Tissues are Dispensed by Removing the Roll

It has been more than a century since the toilet paper roll was introduced and its form has largely remained unchanged—but this is something that Bambox wants to change in support of a more sustainable future. “The most fragile component of the tissue industry is the supply chain, which accounts for a significant portion of tissue roll products' costs,” says Roy Shihor, founder of Bambox, “Having a supply chain made of rectangular storage spaces and filling them with hollow, round fluffy objects doesn't make any sense.”

Bambox removes the space-wasting roll entirely and instead packages its product in a box that's compressed and sealed. The bamboo toilet paper sheets are easily dispensed and their packaging includes a hanger that still allows them to be suspended from existing toilet paper roll holders in the bathroom.
