Philadelphia's Yards Brewing is Teaming Up With MLB Star Kyle Schwarber

Philadelphia-based Yards Brewing Company has announced a partnership with baseball outfielder and slugger Kyle Schwarber of the Philadelphia Phillies in a piece of beer branding that well and truly connects the dots between easy-drinking beer and baseball fan culture.

This partnership will feature novelty cans of the Philly Standard beer featuring artwork depicting Schwarber, with the beer branding campaign also said to include special merchandise, social media initiatives and meet-and-greet events with fans.

For his part, Schwarber said the partnership with Yards Brewing Co. is something that gives him tremendous satisfaction given his attachment to Philadelphia. "Yards is a brand that is so deeply rooted in Philly, shares my love for this city and embodies the spirit of it," said Schwarber. "Collaborating with a local brewery that is intertwined with the community is something that truly excites me, and I can’t wait to share a cold Philly Standard with fans as we look to win it all this year.”
