A sizable number of children get heatstroke from being in parked vehicles every year, so the 'Bumbl' baby seat monitor aims to drastically reduce or eliminate these occurrences. 'Bumbl' works by being placed under the seat of a child car seat and instantly detect when the child is in the car. If they are detected, the monitor will go to work to let parents know if they have forgotten their child in the car or if the vehicle is starting to get too hot.

If a child is accidentally left in a car, the parent or driver will be automatically notified via their smartphone of the occurrence. If they don't acknowledge the alarm, the 'Bumbl' baby seat monitor will send an alert to emergency contacts along with the last known location.
