The AuraVisor is a head-mounted virtual reality system that is unique in that it all of its technology is built right into the visor, so the contraption is totally untethered.

The device is equipped with an Android computer and a 5-inch display that offers 1080p displays for each eye. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz quad-core Rockchip RK3288 with dedicated high resolution and ultra high-definition video decoders.

Virtual reality headsets are set to grow in popularity in the coming years, but they have to be untethered if they're going to be easily sellable to families. This is where the AuraVisor offers an advantage, in that it is easy to set up and use for people of all ages.
