Party Crashing via Internet Invite - Annie Lennox the Latest Victim

Internet party crashing is an alarming and growing trend made popular by social sites like MySpace. Teenagers throwing a party end up with the details posted to MySpace and before you know it, your party is crashed by hundreds of MySpace strangers who completely trash the home causing thousands of dollars in damage. A high-profile “Internet Party Crash” happened this weekend to former Eurythmics singer Annie Lennox’s daughter Lola. The party for her and 30 guests made it’s way onto the Internet and hundreds stormed the home. When the doors were locked to keep guests out, the doors were rammed-in and party crashers destroyed furnishings, swimming pools, urinating and vomiting wherever they pleased and theft of valuables. In another separate incident, a teens party was posted to the Internet and the damage and destruction that ensued has been called “House Rape” by the home owners.
