These unexpected fashion collaborations range from auto-themed manicure collections to cartoon-clad birkin bags that alter the way one looks at high end luxury. More and more, designers are expanding their talents and are aiming to appeal to a wide range of consumers.

A great example is Dior designer Raf Simons who is known for his past work at Jil Sander and for his covetable namesake brand. While the designer is associated with high-end luxury, he is consistently collaborating with affordable labels like Eastpak and Adidas and proving that his designs are as versatile as his vast consumer base.

In addition to Raf Simons, beverage brand Coca Cola is constantly putting their foot in the fashion game with clothing collections and speciality products that are inspired by all things style-themed. Moreover, luxury brand Hermes recently updated their best-selling product, the Birkin bag during a cartoon-inspired collaboration with animation studio Disney.
