Performance and versatility are the key words for designers these days, especially designers of vehicles. It seems like everything from cars to trucksâ€"even houses and wheelchairsâ€"are created to withstand different types of terrain.

Whether you've got an all-terrain cabin or an amphibian ATV, rough rural roads are a piece of cake. Urban streets? No problem. Hills? Ditto. This cluster is all about all-terrain innovations that will go anywhereâ€"literally.

Implications - Consumers have a strong inclination to see new forms emerge that reflect their conception of the future created by popular media. This stems from the over-appropriation of elements from previous decades that occurred over the past decade. Companies looking to form a lasting relationship with this consumers should push the envelope when it comes to design.
