Cosmetic surgery is more and more common but many people don’t realize that plastic surgery carries real medical risks, even the possibility of death. One such case is Solange Magnano, Miss Argentina 1994 who died last week from complications after undergoing a gluteoplasty at a private clinic in Buenos Aries.
The mother of eight year-old twins was admitted to the hospital in critical condition from complications of cosmetic surgery on her buttocks. She died of a pulmonary embolism 3 days later.
The tragic death emphasizes that cosmetic surgery can be fatally dangerous.
