38 Fall/Winter Fashion Collections

— March 2, 2009 — Luxury
It’s time for some sneak peeks as to what Fall 2009 will bring in terms of women's fashion. As we long for hot, sunny summer days, curiosity inevitably makes us wonder what we’ll be wearing when the weather turns cooler.

Here you have 38 looks that make us anticipate the best in Fall/Winter 2009 fashion. A few trends emerge, like monochromatic looks in shades of grey, brown, navy blue, aubergine, and black. There's also plenty of nature inspiration and flowery summer patterns turned into Fall/Winter 2009 garments. We're also seeing a bit of a 1980s revival, manifested in unusual combinations like masculine fedoras paired with ruffly laced dresses or slim cutout garments, plenty of exposed zippers, and plenty of loose knitwear. While some designers have opted for a drab palette, others have gone for pure, bright colors used in footwear and in pop art-inspired patterns.
