I wish I was kidding when I said that people sell mummified pets online, but there’s a disturbingly high volume of weird eBay auctions out there.
In a bid that ended yesterday, an eBay user sold a mummified cat “slam dunking” a mummified bird for $750 with an asking price of $550. Whether the cat and bird are -- or were at least were at some point -- real, this only goes to show what crazy shenanigans people are willing to do to make a couple bucks.
Of course, there are always people who buy from these weird eBay auctions, which makes me wonder if there is actually anyone who is out there to monitor these bizarre transactions.
