Time and time again, people are reminded that things are not always as they seem, which is taken a step further with these cleverly confused edibles. These deceiving delectables do not taste as they look, basically parading as one form of food when in fact, they are another.
Some great examples include meat loaf cupcakes, rock candy jello shots, potato confections and numerous sushi-inspired cake pops. Imagine the surprise on someone's face when they bite into what seems to be a hamburger and are met with a mouthful of cake and buttercream frosting! For some, this sounds like a dream come true, but I'm sure others wouldn't appreciate the deception.
Whether you love them or hate them, confused edibles are definitely something that will catch on.
