Zhang Kechun 'Yellow River' Captures the Diversity by Huang He River

Various cultures and traditions have been captured through photography, but the Zhang Kechun 'Yellow River' series is the first time I have encountered a photographer travelling along a 5,000-mile river to catch said photos.
The pictures allow the vastness of Huang He river in the highlands of Tibet to consume audiences' hearts in a simplistic manner. What sets this photo set apart, however, is that the shores of the river are used to display the various forms of nature, city-life and human gatherings that take place. From worship monuments to leisure waterside lounging the people of Tibet have a colorful diversity that sits along a body of water. Sometimes travel does not need to exceed the boundaries of one's country for a little life-changing experience. The Zhang Kechun 'Yellow River' series reminds creative minds that inspiration might be sitting right under their noses.
