Taig Khris Makes Another Record-Breaking Jump
Souzan Michael — July 5, 2011 — World
Last year, French roller-skater Taig Khris set out to show the world just how good he was on a pair of roller-blades. To do this, he jumped off the Eiffel Tower and onto a ramp, breaking the world record for highest roller-blade jump.
Now, Khris is at it again. This time, he jumped off another French monument: the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur. The 35-year-old rollerblader skated down a 150-meter long ramp before soaring through the air for a total distance of 29 meters, breaking another world record.
Taig Khris may not have remained standing for too long after he lands, but he did land so that's all that matters. No word yet on the adrenaline-junkie's future plans but here's hoping he ventures out into other countries. Maybe he'll tackle the CN Tower next?
