Steve Jobs was the co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc. Jobs oversaw the development of the iMac, iTunes, the iPod, the iPhone, and the iPad. His passion for perfect products and allowed him an insight into the process of detail-oriented manufacturing. In addition to product development, Jobs oversaw the revitalization of Apple Stores, the iTunes store and the App store.
Jobs considers PC technology to be similar to the structuring of anatomy. He explains that the hardware of a computer is the brain. As the brain develops and grows faster, the operational systems must keep pace. One of Jobs' most favored quotes is from Wayne Gretzky: "I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been." This illustrates the need for both systems involved in technology to maintain an equal rate of development, in addition to corporate and administrative tactics. Without this balance, the business won't functions.
