ZiiLock Boasts Biometric Identification Features & a Space-Saving Design

The ZiiLock smart bike lock sets itself apart with not great features for security but also a convenient, minimalist design that folds to conserve space when not in use. The smart bike lock boasts an advanced biometric identification mechanism that's capable of recognizing up to 20 authorized fingerprints and unlocking in less than a second. When connected to a smartphone, the next-gen bike lock also supports single-tap unlocking and use of temporary access codes.

The bike lock promises to address the persistent problem of bike thefts with durable temper-hardened steel bars that are linked by anti-drilling rivets. According to the creators of the ZiiLock, this design "provides the security of an U-Lock with the flexibility of a chain."

ZiiLock recently kicked off its crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, appealing to cyclists who would value the device's space-saving form and thoughtfully designed technology features.
