To celebrate its release in Canada, Trend Hunter attended the YouTube Music app launch, which highlighted how the streaming service differs from others on the market, and featured performances from up-and-coming Canadian artists.
Apart from allowing users to explore music from their favorite artists, the app makes it easier for them to find covers of songs they like, check out new music videos and live performances, and browse thousands of playlists that are catered to different moods and genres. For offline listening, users can download the songs they want, with their favorites automatically backed up in case they forget. What's especially great about the YouTube Music app's search tool is that it utilizes smart recommendations, meaning that users can simply type in the lyrics they remember, or even something as abstract as "That space-themed Spice Girls song in the desert.”
For a limited time, the YouTube Music app can be trialed for free for three months, after which point users will be charged the normal monthly fee of $9.99 CAD.
