Yankee Candle's Scent of the Year Lends from Ikigai

This season, Yankee Candle's Scent of the Year is inspired by Ikigai, the philosophy of living a long and happy life designed to enhance the everyday moments that bring us joy. This year's scent is appropriately called Inspire and features a light citrus fragrance.

The 2022 Scent of the Year combines the effervescence of citrus with the aromas of a salty sea breeze to invigorate the senses. Inspire's top notes include rainforest lime, ginger, and verbena. The scent's mid notes are bamboo, freesia, and ocean breeze. Finally, Yankee Candle designed the scent's base notes with cedar, seaside driftwood, and sun musk. Moreover, Inspire builds on Yankee Candle's signature spring fragrance line, the Sakura Blossom Festival Collection.
