Sony Ericsson is getting ready to add to their smartphone collection with the Xperia active, built for the active adventurous individual.
The Xperia active is a smartphone designed specifically to withstand all sorts of environments. Its rugged design is rust-proof, H20-friendly and the screen is completely scratch resistant. Perhaps what's most impressive is the wet finger tracking system that makes the touchscreen functional in the rain. Technical specifications for the Xperia active include the Android 2.3.4 operating system, built-in GPS and a pulse monitor. Sony Ericsson has also put in a Mobile BRAVIA Engine, which is a reality display that makes the screen much sharper and crisper.
The tough design combined with the gear kit and preloaded sports apps makes the Xperia active the ideal mobile for the restless adventurer.
