The XP Mod acts as a home screen replacement for Android smartphones and transforms the traditional display into that of a PC running
Windows XP.
If you're a PC user who wants to navigate around your smartphone the same way you navigate around your computer, or if you just enjoy trying something a little different, then this launcher will certainly be a lot of fun. Mac users, however, may think a little bit differently.
The system runs Windows Explorer on the Android and offers you the classic icons found on the Windows home screen such as My Computer, Internet Explorer, My Documents and Recycle Bin. The modification also incorporates the use of the classic start bar and the familiar chiming of the Windows bell that play when you turn the phone on.
