The XON Snow-1 is a high-tech set of snowboard bindings that makes use of an array of sensors in order to provide boarders with a wide variety of information on their snowboard runs, which they can then use to go about improving their skills.
The contraption consists of four load sensors, a pair of flex sensors and an accelerometer. Data from these sensors is sent to the user's smartphone, where it can be analyzed by the companion app. The user can then go into the app to access feedback on specific things such as weight balance, center of gravity, acceleration and bend.
The XON Snow-1 also provides real-time feedback via LED lights that flash to help riders make minor adjustments to their stance while on the run, instead of having to wait until after to analyze their performance.
