Mahlkönig Home is moving into home espresso with the Xenia Brew-by-Sync, its first espresso machine. The system connects with compatible Grind-by-Sync grinders, creating a more joined-up process from grinding through to extraction. An integrated cup scale automatically stops the shot once it reaches the set weight, helping users repeat the same recipe more consistently.
Made and manufactured in Germany, the Xenia uses dual boilers and Triple PID temperature control to keep brewing and steaming stable, while allowing both to happen at the same time. A built-in display tracks extraction time, beverage weight and flow rate as the shot runs, giving users a clearer view of what is happening in the cup.
The machine also includes a cold-touch steam wand with adjustable pressure and a four-hole tip for controlling milk texture. Through the Sync App and Web Interface, users can adjust settings including temperature, timers and energy use.
Rather than treating the grinder and espresso machine as separate pieces of equipment, Xenia connects the two around a shared recipe. That makes detailed espresso adjustments more accessible for home users while still giving more experienced baristas plenty of control to experiment with their brewing.
