Mechanical Cyborg Arms

The x-Ar from Equipois will be on the market to help give "dynamic support," while using your arm for highly repetitive tasks that put strain on muscles and bones. The Equipois x-AR is the culmination of a long line of zeroG products from Equipois.

Equipois is a manufacturer of robots that are seen on many factory floors assembly lines. The x-Ar will hold the weight of a person's arm as well as small objects, but allow complete freedom of natural motion of the arm. For those that work long periods of time with their arms outstretched, the cyborg-like assistance can reduce fatigue and injuries. The x-AR is not programmed to do the work, only to make the human users more efficient.

Medical versions of the Equipois x-AR arm assist is coming soon to help those who have lost the full use of an arm.
