That's why the new security camera has been equipped with Amazon Alexa compatibility, making it functional for everyday tasks as well as for security in the case of an emergency.

Thanks to an incoming firmware update, the Wyze Cam v2 will get actions through IFTTT. This not only lets users control various aspects of their home, but it also helps them to monitor their home more frequently. The update allows users to view the Wyze Cam through any Alexa-enabled device that has a screen, giving them the freedom to check in remotely.
