A wave that crashed against a Brazilian beach carried with it 84 surfers to break the Guiness Book of World Record for the most surfers on one wave. The event was sponsored by Earthwave and was done in an effort to support the anti-global warming campaign. That's one small wave for surfers and one giant tube for global-warming-opponentkind.
