Stylishly Timeless Work Jackets

La Maison Générale Debuts the Le Mont Saint-Michel Work Jacket

La Maison Générale, the Canadian retailer offering the country's most extensive selection of workwear, now presents the iconic Le Mont Saint-Michel work jacket. This unisex garment has a history stretching back over a century to its origins in the workshops of Normandy.

Originally designed for Breton and Norman farmers and artisans, Le Mont Saint-Michel work jacket features a signature cotton moleskin fabric woven with a tight, satin-like construction that provides water resistance, durability, and flexibility. Its manufacturing process has remained unchanged since the early 1900s, with the fabric still woven in France and the garment assembled in Europe.

The collection at La Maison Générale includes the classic moleskin model in sixteen colors ranging from navy to pink to forest green, as well as variations in twill, gabardine, and denim.
