This offering represents the culmination of the brand's ambitious Cotton Project, which orchestrates every stage of production from regenerative farming in Alabama to spinning in North Carolina, weaving at Mount Vernon Mills in Georgia, and natural dyeing with indigo cultivated just 30 miles from the Nashville headquarters by Stony Creek Colors.

The Imogene + Willie Hencye Natural Indigo Workpant adopts the classic American double-knee workwear silhouette, featuring patch pockets and a relaxed straight-leg fit. The 15-ounce denim carries a substantial weight that promises to break in beautifully over time.

This final production run carries particular significance because Mount Vernon Mills, the last remaining denim mill of its scale in the United States, had to halt operations, clean and sanitize their dye vats, and fill them with natural indigo specifically for this project.
