Creating art is difficult because while most of us have the ability to come up with interesting ideas, imagery and color schemes in our heads, having the technical ability to convert these into real art is a completely different matter altogether -- this is where the WordsEye app comes in.

This incredible allows you to describe a scene using natural language and words, and uses statistical methods to convert it into a 3D image. You can name objects and their locations, and this information is then taken and converted into an image. The results can be pretty surreal, which could appeal to many.

WordsEye is currently limited by vocabulary and its limited database of images, but shows a lot of promise as an accessible way for people to produce visual art.
