Sustainable CO2-Neutral BBQ Fuels

The Bar-Be-Quick Wood Free Briquettes Offer a Long Burn

The Bar-Be-Quick Wood Free Briquettes are a natural product for avid barbecuers to choose in favor of traditional wood and charcoal to enhance the sustainability of their grilling this summer. The product is made from a blend of coconut residues, corn and mango stone, which enables them to have a clean burn that is CO2-neutral. The briquettes also help to make use of materials that would otherwise go to waste and are reported to offer an average burn time of five hours.

Managing Director of Bar-Be-Quick Paul Keighley further explained the sustainability of the Bar-Be-Quick Wood Free Briquettes saying, "The briquettes are created using materials that otherwise would have gone to waste. They are manufactured in a sustainable manner with no harm to the environment and we’re very proud we can offer this renewable product. They are great quality – they provide an excellent heat transfer and consistent temperature, making them perfect for barbecuing. We’re currently looking into other potential formulas using other waste materials as we continue to become more sustainable as a business.”
