In honor of Women's History Month and International Women's Day 2021, tech giant Apple is launching a series of empowering initiatives. Specifically, "feature stories and highlights honor powerful female voices in the App Store and Apple TV app, on Apple Music and Apple Arcade, and in curated collections for Apple News, Apple Podcasts, Apple Books, and more."

Some standouts from Apple's Women's History Month and International Women's Day initiative include country-specific Apple Books collections that spotlight women's voices across a number of literary genres. Additionally, the brand is launching Apple Maps' 'Curated Guides' in collaboration with popular platforms like "Altas Obscura, Complex, Michelin Guide, HER, and Street Art Cities." With the guides, Apple Maps users can discover notable urban artwork created by women or can visit and support women-owned businesses in their area.
