Designed by Seung Yong Song, this wire vase collection is a carefully calculated balance between different types of materials that contrast greatly in their physical properties.
A solid cement base keeps the vases grounded, giving them a sturdy support that emotes a grave heaviness and rough type of smoothness. Extending from this base are light and limber wire frames that create the structure of the vases, some tapering inwards, others branching outwards, giving the vessels shape and a barely there dimension.
Flowers and plants placed in the wire vase series will have the illusion of floating on their own in the air as the branches and stems take on the shapes created by the wires.
