The Spoke Gallery in San Francisco showcases a series of artistic reimaginings of the fathers from Wes Anderson movies.
The annual event is dubbed 'Bad Dads,' which features the work of over 80 artists who each capture the characters in their own light. With the show running every year since 2011, artist's renditions have become increasingly more creative and take the form of paintings, sculptures, screen prints and more. In addition to the art show, the Spoke Gallery is set to release an art book that contains highlight pieces from the event which will be titled 'Bad Dads: Art Inspired by the Films of Wes Anderson.' Father figures are taken from Wes Anderson movies such as 'Bottle Rocket,' 'Rushmore,' 'The Royal Tenenbaums,' 'Fantastic Mr. Fox,' 'Moonrise Kingdom' and 'The Grand Budapest Hotel.'
