Shaadi.com Created a 'Wedding from Home' Service During the Pandemic

Shaddi.com, a wedding website, recently created a new 'Weddings from home' program to help people get married during the COVID-19 pandemic. Adhish Zaverie, the Director of Marketing for the platform discussed the new 'Weddings From Home' program and stated that it has two important factors. One of the important factors involves repurposing technology to fit the program, and the second factor involves making a virtual wedding similar to an in-person event.

The organization has already held virtual weddings on April 14th, with approximately 200 people in attendance. Following the digital event, food was delivered to all the guests in attendance.

The ability to perform wedding ceremonies online will give couples more choice as they plan weddings during the pandemic.
