The 'Weave Stool' is a durable seating solution that aims to offer a comfortable place to sit that won't detract from the overall aesthetic of a living or working space. Featuring a woven cushion section, the stool is inspired by the Korean jukbuin handicraft that is achieved using overlapping layers that go in three directions. This specialized structure allows the stool to have a very rugged design thanks to the metal strips that have been used in place of bamboo for a touch of flexibility without too much give.
The 'Weave Stool' is the design work of Hyeongkwon Lee, Sanghee Yoo and Seong Bin Kim, and also helps to virtually disappear into a space for an increased focus on minimalism.
