Converse Drops New Weapon CX Model in 'Kinetic Blue'

Iconic shoe brand Converse has announced the launch of a new Weapon CX model in 'Kinetic Blue.' Set to be released on December 6, the new sneaker maintains the Weapon CX's '80s basketball-inspired silhouette while giving it a bright blue upgrade.

In fact, the entire Weapon CX line, which is set to roll out following the release of the 'Kinetic Blue' model, represents a contemporary take on the brand's classic Weapon sneaker, which was made popular by iconic basketball players such as Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. Here, the original design has been updated using Converse's proprietary CX technology.

According to the company, the blue pair will be the first model to drop before the brand unveils a range of other vibrant colorways.
