Wärtsilä's New PhD Program is a Partnership with Three Universities

Wärtsilä is introducing a unique industrial PhD program that blends academic research with real-world industrial expertise. The program offers fully funded PhDs, clear research topics, and guidance from both Wärtsilä and partner universities.

By connecting students with cutting-edge research and practical industrial knowledge, the program aims to develop the innovators of tomorrow. Six students will be admitted in 2025, each gaining a rare opportunity to contribute to the future of industrial technology.
