Rick Owens Continues to Grab Attention with the Walking Boot

Avant-garde fashion designer Rick Owens unveils its latest collection designed specifically for the Spring/Summer 2024 season on the runways during the ongoing Fashion Weeks and one of the notable products is the walking boot. The shoe takes on a similar look to a medical boot.
It has a very strappy look throughout the silhouette and is essentially a tall sandal design that is inspired by the designer's own Brutalist themes. Overall, it has a refined shape and a forward design. The shoes are undoubtably done in with a black tonal palette with a structure foundation that wraps around the base and back of the leg. There are three straps -- one over the forefoot and two around the calf to hold the wearer in place.
