This walkie talkie app hopes to do away with more traditional SMS texting and replace it with EM (experiential messaging). The Tribe app is a social application for iOS and Android devices that emphasizes video and design.
Unlike other messaging apps where video messages are an option but not necessarily a go-to, this Snapchat competitor makes it much easier and efficient to communicate in this manner. Currently in beta, the walkie talkie app is also faster because it only takes a few taps to send a video and doesn't even have a keyboard. It is also optimized for one-hand use and has a mini mirror feature so you can make sure you are looking your best while on the go.
