The conceptual 'Waiter' microwave has been designed by Keereem Lee as a modernized take on the essential countertop appliance that would work to heat up meals and serve them upon completion.
The microwave features rounded corners that are different from the squared-off models presently on the market and boasts a swinging door that will open completely when a meal is ready to eat. The door will remove the dish with it to eliminate the need for the user to put their hands into the unit for a more intuitive, thoughtful user experience.
The conceptual 'Waiter' microwave is finished with a see-through top section instead of having a window on the door to let operators see the progress when the appliance is in use.
