Textural Hairy Boat Shoes

WACKO MARIA x Timberland 3-Eye Classic Lug Reworks Heritage Silhouette

The 3-Eye Classic Lug by Timberland is reimagined through a collaboration with Japanese label WACKO MARIA, introducing textured uppers and bold surface treatments. American brand Timberland retains the original handsewn boat shoe construction and chunky lug sole, while WACKO MARIA applies its signature aesthetic through materials and pattern. The collaboration includes two versions of the same silhouette, one in a leopard print pony hair finish and another in a tonal black textured leather.

Both styles maintain the core 3-eye lacing system and rugged outsole, preserving the shoe’s functional structure while altering its visual identity. The uppers are constructed from cowhide with raised, tactile surfaces that contrast against the traditional smooth leather finish. Co-branded detailing appears through subtle logo placement and hardware elements, with the silhouette remaining consistent across both colorways. The release is scheduled for March 28
