Retro VW Camper Goes Green
Alex Covert — January 10, 2008 — Autos
Still in draft-phase, the famous VW Westfalia Camper Van has been redesigned to bring it even more environmental street-cred.
Alexandre Verdier envisions an "intelligent" vehicle with solar panels to power its on board accessories. A computer and GPS-system will position the panels to maximize their solar-intake. A kitchen will swivel, allowing for meal prep inside or out.
Green the groovy way won't be cheap though - expect to pay around $69,000USD.
