Whimsical Warehouse Editorials

The Volt Magazine Femme Severe Photoshoot is Grungy

The Volt Magazine Femme Severe editorial is currently a part of the publication's Spring/Summer 2014 issue. Photographer Samantha Rapp worked with a monochromatic theme, displaying model Jamie Bochert in grayscale lighting only.

Matched with the black and white backdrop was an old warehouse. The factory-like setting added a grungy appeal to Femme Severe. This rebellious motif was further teased out by crumbling brick walls and cracked paint, making the setting an unlikely spot for the ensembles of stylist Victoria Adcock.

Adcock paired Bochert's tall figure with sleek cut out dresses, lace print one piece suits and graphic print tank tops, making the entire production appear upscale and glamorous while also appropriate for daily street wear.
