Talented sculpture David Hochbaum creates these dainty village models out of repurpose wood collected from the scraps of the frames he makes. With the wood, Hochbaum creates handmade towns in a variety of sizes, blocks and styles that are packaged and sent to consumers in an old coffee can. These villages are perfect for setting up on display and adding a quirky touch to a home decor.
Each of the village sets Hochbaum puts together by hand sawing down the wood to size, adding little roofs and then painting on windows and detailing. Each village comes in a set of 11 homes that are each unique with no set containing two of the same style. Each village is shipped in a decorated coffee canister for an added touch of whimsy.
