Asian Bar Takeovers

Vesper Bar Takes Over 1 Hotel Toronto’s Flora Lounge

This spring, Flora Lounge at 1 Hotel Toronto continues its exploration of global cocktail artistry with a special two-night takeover by Vesper Bar, one of Bangkok’s most celebrated destinations for innovative mixology. Taking place on May 1–2, 2025, the event marks Vesper’s first appearance in Canada and the latest installment in Flora’s 'Guest Shift' series, following a successful collaboration with Guangzhou’s Hope & Sesame in 2024.

Helming the bar for the occasion is Tom Hearn, Vesper’s bar manager and an award-winning mixologist formerly of London’s iconic American Bar at The Savoy. Guests will experience a curated selection of signature cocktails that showcase Vesper’s imaginative approach—where bold flavors, refined technique, and creative flair converge.

Running from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM each evening, the event will operate on a walk-in basis only, offering Toronto’s cocktail community a rare and immersive taste of Bangkok’s dynamic bar culture in a sophisticated, intimate setting.
