The latest Vanity Fair Jennifer Lawrence feature may have people questioning the photo scandal that targeted the American actress in particular, yet it shows a woman taking control of her body in a very powerful way. Posing with nothing more than a live boa constrictor, the image pays tribute to Ricard Avedon’s iconic snake photograph with Nastassja Kinski.
Appearing in the publication's March 2015 issue, the Vanity Fair Jennifer Lawrence photo is full of raw and exotic sensuality. Fashion and style director, Jessica Diehl, comments, "Jennifer has the perfect combination of strength, sexuality, and humor, and, above all, tomboy to pull this off." Although it was originally captured for her past November 2014 cover shoot, the striking snake photo is perfect for the current resort season.
