Even though I have a functional kettle and a working stove, I would be easily drawn to using the Urban Billy to make my tea instead. With the beautiful hand-formed borosilicate glass and the gorgeous bent mountain ash wood sleeves and cap, the tall vessel and the pair of teacups expresses a contemporary poise and purity.

Elliat Rich's elegant object has been influenced by the quintessential Australian billycan, traditionally used for heating water while camping in the outback. It's clear that this collection is much more refined than the old repurposed tins, even incorporating a small fuel dish in the base of the boiler. The Urban Billy makes the process of brewing your beverage transparent and enticing.
