The Ur-230 Black Star Marks the Last Edition of the 230 Watch Series
UR-230 Black Star marks the concluding limited edition of the 230 watch series with a 35-piece production that completes the trilogy of URWERK 230 models revealed since 2023. The watch uses a laminated composite ceramic case made from layers of braided ceramic, fibreglass, and carbon fibre integrated into a polymer matrix to produce a dense, dark surface with sparkling micro-reflections. Inside the case sits the automatic UR-7.30 calibre, regulated by a dual turbine winding system that controls airflow and absorbs shocks. The time display is executed through a satellite wandering-hours complication with a retrograde minutes hand that travels along a 120-degree arc before resetting.
The case measures approximately 44.8 millimetres wide and 53.6 millimetres long and pairs with a vulcanised rubber strap. The crown indicators allow adjustment or disengagement of the automatic rotor. The watch offers a power reserve of about 48 hours and is water resistant to a depth of 30 metres.
