Best Buy, where formerly sane men would drop unknown, but vast quantities of cash for gargantuan speakers, has made the marketing decision to enhance their gift cards by making them the cheapest, and probably most tinny sounding speakers in the whole universe.
This may work: while I’m dropping thousands on a flat panel something or other, I’ll just grab a $50 gift card for the little woman, and she can plug her iPod into it.
