There are a number of unique bike rides that happen around the world, but the Good Smile Racing Cup in Japan is one that is especially appealing to cosplayers. The GSR Cup describes that it's all about eating food and listening to anime songs. For the event, cyclists are encouraged to wear costumes or accessories that pay tribute to their favorite anime, graphic novels or video games, as long as they don't impede a rider's ability to cycle. Some practical racers opted to wear anime-printed biking gear, while there were some others who participated in full costume.
Rather than just appealing to the love of cosplay, this is a great event for people to form bonds with others who have more than one common interest.
